about
As a band and as people we feel it’s critical to voice support for our sisters and brothers in the Black Lives Matter movement. The oppressive power that police in this country wield has gone unchecked forever and we hope that the current events are a wake up call to all Americans. The violence that people of color deal with on a daily basis at the hands of the law is systemic, immoral and MUST change.
It was announced today that citizens of Richmond are no longer allowed on the streets after 8pm and as a response we've decided to debut “Curfew” - a new song about abuses of power. The song is available for download on our bandcamp page with a “Pay what you want” price. All money from the track will be donated to the Richmond Community Bail Fund (https://rvabailfund.org). “Curfew” will also appear on an upcoming LP to be released later this summer on Vinyl Conflict Records.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
On their ferocious self-titled debut, the Australian punks pit d-beat percussion against gnarled, metallic melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024
